3 Wise Men Day (Epiphany)
On this day, people typically eat Roscon de Reyes.  This is sweet bread with a surprise inside.  The person who finds the bean has to pay for the cake the next year.  The person who finds the token is proclaimed the queen on the cake.


25 January

Burns Night
Burns Night is associated with Scotland after the Scottish Poet, Robert Burns.  A Burns supper includes haggis and is served with mashed potatoes (tatties) and mashed turnip.  Lots of whisky is also drunk.
