Instructions
 | Mix 3 dessert spoons of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl. Put to one side. |
 | Heat the milk Add the mixture above (sugar and cinnamon) and lemon rind to the milk.

 | Break the eggs into a bowl. Beat. |
 | Slice the old bread. Soak the bread in the mixture and then dip in the beaten egg. |
 | Heat the oil in a saucepan until it is very hot. Carefully fry the bread on both sides. |
 | When they are brown take the torrijas out of the pan and place on kitchen roll. |
 | Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon - to taste. |
 | Enjoy as a dessert, breakfast or snack. |
